Mogelijkerwijs zijn er door ggz-instellingen met specifieke verzekeraars in de WMG-overeenkomst afspraken gemaakt die afwijken van hetgeen hierboven genoemd is. Het is bijvoorbeeld mogelijk dat verzekeraars bepaalde beroepen in het geheel niet toestaan als hoofdbehandelaar.
